About Our Founder
Alpana Kamdar is the founder of Varahaa Inc., the parent company behind Newsahoot. Through Varahaa, she has built thoughtful, high-impact learning experiences for children and adults, with Newsahoot reflecting this vision through engaging, relevant, and meaningful current affairs learning.
An Economics Honours graduate from St. Xavier’s Mumbai with an MBA from Cardiff University, Alpana brings together academic depth, professional rigor, and the insight of a mother of two. With over 1,800 batches completed, her work is rooted in the belief that learning should be engaging, relevant, and lifelong.
