have any questions?
Is it the right time to expose my child to real world news?
+
Newsahoot content is especially curated for children above eight years of age. We aim to ease your child into real-life events. This way, they form a solid foundation for the knowledge they will gain in the future.
How is the kids’ news on Newsahoot decided?
+
Our team picks out the most relevant and appropriate piece of news across the six different categories we cover - so there’s a new type of story every day! What’s more? Our content is thoroughly fact-checked and free from bias, so your child forms their opinion.
Why is Newsahoot better than online educational videos?
+
We agree that visual learning is a really handy tool, but we also believe that reading is a critical skill that every child should inculcate. Reading should never feel like a chore. That’s why, Newsahoot gives your child bite-sized articles on fresh topics every day to make them look forward to reading more.
How are my kids expected to understand difficult concepts?
+
We break down each article to its most basic form and then build upon it with information that is suitable for each level - easy (recommended for ages 8-10), medium (recommended for ages 10-12); and hard (recommended for ages 12 and above).
How will my child understand the tough words used in the articles?
+
Every article contains new words to add to your child’s vocabulary. Since we aren’t big fans of complicated dictionary meanings, each of these new words has a simple definition written by us.
How much time is my child expected to spend on news for kids?
+
We know that every child has a full schedule - so we don’t ask for too much of their time. Ideally, a Newsahoot article can be read and understood in a maximum of 15 minutes. And since we only publish one article a day, our content will never become an added burden for your child!
How will news for kids help with my child’s development?
+
You can maximize your child’s learning by encouraging them to discuss what they read on Newsahoot with you as well as their peers. These peer group discussions can be done in your child’s friend circle, study group, or even their classroom. Healthy discussions and debates also help unlock your child’s critical thinking ability.
I want my child’s school to tie up with Newsahoot. How do I make that happen?
+
Newsahoot offers heavily discounted plans and other exclusive content for schools. Your child’s school can tie up with us too! Please write to us at contact@newsahoot.com.
