We reserve the right to refuse our Services to You if it is discovered that You are using our Services without the consent of your parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

The Company may host different types of competitions on its Services. The decision of the Company in relation to such competitions shall be final, and no disputes in relation to the same shall be entertained by the Company.
In specific cases, Users may be required to furnish their identity proof to validate that information provided by them is genuine and authentic.
We highly discourage You from sharing your password and/ or other confidential information in relation to Your account with any third party.
You agree to be held responsible for any actions done from Your account on our Services and further agree to bear the consequences thereof.

The Company has various revenue streams, including but not limited to child-friendly advertisements. Such advertisements are visible to everyone except Users who have paid to access the Services.

Our Services are gamified and allow Users to earn fictional coins. Users may be able to use these ‘coins’ to redeem various products and services provided by the Company and third parties.
The Company shall endeavour to list only those products and services which are child-friendly and can not, in good faith, cause any harm to Users.
The Company is extremely mindful that any spending of ‘coins’, especially in cases where physical items are being redeemed, must be done with the explicit consent of the parent(s).

The Company may earn revenue when Users opt to spend their ‘coins’ on items listed by third parties. Third parties can reach the Company at contact@newsahoot.com to get their items listed on the marketplace.
Our Services also provide Users opportunities to post, submit (for publication) and exchange information, ideas, opinions, etc. (“UGC”), which do not necessarily reflect the views of the Company.
Users who choose to publish UGC represent and warrant that they have all necessary rights in and to all content published or submitted by them to the Company or its Services and that such content shall not infringe any proprietary or other rights of third parties or contain any libellous, or otherwise unlawful information.
You hereby expressly grant, and You represent and warrant that You have a right to grant to the Company a royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, list information regarding, edit, translate, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, and make derivative works of all such UGC and your name, voice, and/ or likeness as contained in your UGC, if applicable, in whole or in part, and in any form, media or technology, whether now known or hereafter developed, for use in connection with the Services.
The Company will have the right to use and change the UGC in any manner that it may determine. The Company shall not allow or publish any UGC that, including but not limited to:
The Company shall, under no circumstances, assume or have any responsibility or liability from any UGC or for any claims, damages or losses resulting from their use and/ or appearance on our Services.
Your use of our Services is subject to the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to copyright law, trademark law, patent law and other laws relating to intellectual property rights.
The Company owns all intellectual property to the content published on its Services, its logo, the word “Newsahoot”, and any other brand and service marks.
Any intellectual property not mentioned to be owned by the Company may be owned by their respective owners. This may include screenshots of copyrighted work that has been used under the “Fair Use” doctrine for the purposes of criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, or research.
You may not create apps, extensions, or other products and services that use our content without express written permission of the Company.
The Company makes every effort to make correct attributions for the content published on our Services. However, it may be possible that attribution may have been done incorrectly in some cases due to technical or human error.
If You wish to get any copyright attribution changed or added to the content on our Services, please contact us at contact@newsahoot.com. You are also required to share proof of Your ownership of the copyrighted work along with the concerned URL. We will act on your request expeditiously within 2-3 business days.
The Company makes every effort to make attributions for the content published on our Services. However, it may be possible that attribution may have been left out due to technical or human error.
If you wish for your copyrighted work to be removed from the Services, you should contact us at contact@newsahoot.com. You are also required to share proof of Your ownership of the copyrighted work along with the concerned URL. We will act on your request expeditiously within 2-3 business days.
You are licensed to create hyperlinks to our content, provided that the hyperlink accurately describes the content as it appears on the Services.
Creating a “frame” of our Services or any part of our content to a server, except as part of an Internet service provider's incidental caching of pages, is disallowed. Each page within this site must be displayed in full, including our branding, without any further branding or trademarks not originally displayed on our Services.
You agree not to reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, display, perform, publish, distribute, disseminate, broadcast or circulate any of the content available on the Services, without express prior written consent of the Company.
You agree to be held responsible for the contravention of any laws, including but not limited to those relating to intellectual property, resulting from Your use of our Services.

In no event shall the total liability of the Company for all the damages, losses, and claims of action exceed the amount paid by You, if any.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Company, its officers, directors, affiliated companies, employees and agents, licensors and suppliers harmless from and against any and all claims, actions or demands, liabilities and settlements, including without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from, or alleged to result from Your use of the Services or any other content, product or service offered by the Company.
The Company offers access to additional functionality of our Services upon payment by You. Such payment can be made by You at the price offered or through an organisation or institution at a discounted price. You are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the payment service.
In some cases, payment for the aforementioned additional functionality on our Services may auto-renew, i.e., You shall be charged an equivalent amount to extend Your subscription by an equivalent period after your initial subscription period expires.
If You do not wish to renew your subscription automatically, You will need to log in to Google Play or the App Store, as the case may be, and change the requisite settings, even if You have deleted Your account or uninstalled our Services.
Any payments made to the Company, including but not limited to accessing additional functionality, redeeming prizes, incurring delivery charges, etc., shall be final, binding and non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change the prices, plans, discounts or perform any action in relation to the pricing of our Services.
The Company shall be under no obligation to issue a refund irrespective of whether or not such additional functionality, prize, etc., has been used or not.
The Company will, on a best-efforts basis, ensure that our Services are accessible to You in the best possible manner. However, we disclaim all warranties in relation to our Services, including but not limited to our Services:
The Company reserves the right to terminate Your access to our Services at our discretion, especially if You contravene the provisions of the Terms and/ or our Privacy Policy.

We will not accept anonymous grievances or any grievance with information left incomplete.
The Republic of India shall be the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain any proceedings in relation to any disputes arising out of the use of the Services.
You agree that prior to filing a lawsuit regarding any claims against the Company, You shall engage in good faith pre-litigation mediation.
If no resolution is reached during the course of the mediation proceedings, either You or the Company may proceed with arbitration. The aforesaid arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Rules of Arbitration of the Indian Council of Arbitration, and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on the parties.
The only exception to this clause is that the Company may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in court regarding your alleged or threatened conduct.
Any litigation against the Company shall only be instituted in the courts of Chandigarh after exhausting the grievance redressal clause and the alternate dispute resolution clause mentioned in these Terms.
