The government has also banned open waste burning. Primary schools have also been shut down by the government. It will remain so till the air quality becomes normal.</p>

Outdoor exercise should be reduced or avoided. You should also avoid high-pollution areas such as main roads. </p>
<p>If you have asthma, always remember to carry your inhaler. Air pollution can aggravate diseases like asthma. You must immediately consult your doctor if your health gets negatively affected due to air pollution. Face masks should be used while you are outside. Plants that purify the air, such as Aloe Vera, can be used in the home and office to better the air quality.</p>
<p>One can also use air purifiers, especially in children's, pregnant women’s, and elderly people's rooms.
