A New Update for iPhones!
Apple has announced a new update for iPhones. It is called iOS 26 and has a cool design called Liquid Glass UI.
This design makes the screen look like shiny and smooth glass that moves when you move your phone. iOS 26 will also bring smart new tools to help people use their phones better.

What is iOS 26?
iOS 26 is the next version of iOS. It was announced on 9th June, 2025. Right now, it is being tested by the developers. This means it is not ready for everyone yet.
It will be released for all users around September 2025 and will work on iPhone 11 and newer phones.
iOS 26 will have something called Apple Intelligence. This will help you translate languages while talking, find things on your screen faster, and even make your own emojis! There will also be a new app called 'Apple Games', and better features for calling and texting.
What is Liquid Glass UI?
UI means User Interface. It is what you see and touch on your screen, like icons and options.
Liquid Glass UI uses reflection and refraction of light. Reflection is when light bounces off something (like a mirror), and refraction is when light bends through something (like a straw looking bent in water).
This makes the screen look shiny and 3D, like real glass. Though it's not real glass, it looks almost magical when you use the phone.
Why iOS 26 is Special
Liquid Glass UI is not just cool-looking; it also makes using the iPhone easier.
Some people say the effects are distracting and hard to see, but Apple is still testing the update and may make it better.
