<h5>What is Apple’s WWDC event?</h5><p>The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is a yearly event hosted by Apple Inc. Apple uses this event to showcase its latest software upgrades, tools, and technologies for its many operating systems (OS) and platforms.</p><p>Apple also introduces new hardware at the WWDC. New computers, iPads, and other devices are announced. WWDC is primarily aimed at developers. However, the exciting announcements during this event attract developers and the general public. This year’s WWDC is being held from 5th June 2023 to 9th June 2023.</p><p>The event is available online for everyone. An in-person experience was held on 5th June at Apple Park, California, USA. WWDC23 will provide access to various new technologies and tools. Video by Apple.</figcaption> </figure></div><p>Apple introduced the Vision Pro headset at WWDC 2023. It's a new type of headset that users can control using their hands, eyes, and voice. Tim Cook (Apple’s head) describes it as “the first Apple product you look through and not at.“ This headset is part of spatial computing.</p><p>The Vision Pro is an augmented-reality (AR) headgear that merges the physical and digital worlds. The headset looks like a pair of ski goggles. It has a glass panel that covers the upper face. The facial interface is customisable per the user's needs, giving a more comfortable fit.</p><p>It has 5 sensors, 12 cameras, and a 4K display for each eye. This will make the user feel as if they are in a movie hall (wow!). One can even view their own photos or videos and play video games.</p><p>One significant feature of this device is the ability to see the apps overlaid in real-world environments. Even a user's living room can become their gallery. Users only need to flick their fingertips together to go through something and touch their fingers together to choose something using motions.</p><p>Vision Pro can help record images and films. One can then relive those moments, and it would feel like the user is standing just where the images or videos were taken. It also makes video calling easier. FaceTime video tiles are life-size. Spatial audio makes it appear as if people are speaking directly from where their tiles are placed in the room.</p><p>Apple Vision Pro also includes “EyeSight.” When one approaches someone wearing Vision Pro, the device seems to be transparent (like regular eyeglasses). This allows the user to see the person who has approached them while simultaneously displaying the user's eyes.</p><p>These are some features available on this new Apple device.</p><h5>When will the Vision Pro become available for purchase?</h5><p>This product will be available for purchase in 2024. Initially, it will be sold in the United States. Later, it will be available in other countries.
