<h5>A New Kind of Chess Tournament</h5><p>FIDE, the world group that runs chess, has announced a new tournament called the Total Chess World Championship Tour. It will start in 2026 and will give a new title called the World Combined Champion.</p><p>This new tour wants to find the best chess player who is good at all types of games, not just the slow ones.</p><h5>What Is This Championship?</h5><p>In chess, there are different types of games called Classical, Rapid, and Blitz. Each one has a different time limit. Usually, there are different winners for each type. But this new tour will combine all three.</p><p>There will be four big tournaments every year in different countries. The first three will have 24 top players. The best of them will move to the Grand Final, where only four players will play for the World Combined Champion title.</p><p>The winners will also get money prizes and a chance to play in another event called the Candidates Tournament, which helps decide who will fight for the main world title in chess.</p><h5>What Is Fast Classic Format?</h5><p>The new tour will use a new type of game called Fast Classic.</p><p>In normal Classical chess, each player gets about 90 minutes to play. But in Fast Classic, each player will get 45 minutes, plus 30 extra seconds after every move. This means the games will be faster and more exciting, but players will still have enough time to think.</p><p>The tour will have Fast Classic, Rapid, and Blitz games. So the winner will have to be good at all of them.</p><h5>Why It Is Special</h5><p>This new championship wants to find the best all-round chess player. The one who can think deeply, plan quickly, and make smart moves under pressure.</p><p>Because the games are shorter, the tournaments will finish faster and will be easier to watch online. It will make chess more fun and exciting for both players and fans.</p><h5>What Do The Players Think?</h5><p>The players have different thoughts about it.
