Submarine sinks!

Guess what? China’s new nuclear-powered attack submarine sank near a pier! This made China feel a bit embarrassed because they were trying to make their military stronger.

The attack submarine was the first of its new Zhou-class line submarines. These submarines have a cool new shape that helps them move better underwater.

China already has the biggest navy with over 370 ships! But they wanted even more powerful submarines to keep up with the US. When this new submarine sank, it was a big problem!

Cranes had to pull the submarine out of the water, and it needs lots of repairs before it could return to sea.

About nuclear-powered attack submarines.

Nuclear-powered submarines have nuclear reactors that give them lots of power. These submarines can zoom through the water really fast and have cool attack powers! They can battle enemy ships and other submarines and even hit targets on land!

But wait, there’s more! They can also lay mines, gather necessary information, and help other military teams with their missions. Isn’t that amazing? Many countries, like India, have these awesome submarines as part of their navy.
