The kid's name is Willis Gibson, a 13-year-old competitive gamer, also known as Blue Scuti.</p><p>Gibson became the first human to reach the "kill screen" of the Nintendo version of the hugely popular game. A kill screen is something that appears when a player reaches a level that causes the game to crash or stop. His progress was tracked online by other gamers. When the game ended, the teenager's score read 999999.</p><h5>How long did it take for the teenager to beat the game?</h5><p>Willis needed around 38 minutes to beat the game. His screen crashed towards the end of his run, and the blocks no longer fell as he beat the game. The youngster has been playing Tetris since he was 11 years old and has competed in various gaming tournaments.</p><p>Gibson claims that in addition to winning the game, he broke the overall score and three other Tetris world records.
