<h5>A Successful Test</h5><p>On 20th August 2025, India tested the Agni-5 missile from Chandipur in Odisha. This means one missile can split into many small parts, and each part can hit a different target.</p><h5>Why Was It Built?</h5><p>India built Agni-5 for deterrence, which means stopping an enemy from attacking by showing that you can protect yourself.</p><p>Earlier, India’s missiles could not reach very far places like northern China. Now, with Agni-5, India has that range. India also follows a no-first-use policy. This means India will never use nuclear weapons first, but only if attacked.</p><h5>The Good and the Hard Part</h5><p>Agni-5 has many modern features. It has three stages with solid fuel, it is safer and quicker than liquid fuel. It is canisterized, which means it is stored in a sealed tube, easy to move on trucks, and ready to launch quickly. It has special guidance tools like a ring laser gyroscope and accelerometers. These are machines that keep the missile on the right path. Its body is made of light materials, which help it fly farther.</p><p>But when one country makes a stronger missile, other countries may also build stronger ones. This is called an arms race, and it can increase tension.</p><h5>Conclusion and Future</h5><p>The Agni-5 test showed that India can make very advanced missiles. Scientists are already working on Agni-VI, which may travel more than 10,000 km and carry even more MIRVs.</p><p>This means India is moving forward in the world of missile technology.</p>
