What is Spotify doing to challenge YouTube?
When we want to watch videos online, we usually think of YouTube. YouTube has different kinds of videos, like music, games, and sports. Spotify, a famous music streaming company from Sweden, now offers full music videos for some customers.
People think Spotify launched this feature to challenge YouTube. Spotify wants more subscribers, but it has to compete with Apple Music and YouTube.

When will people be able to stream music videos on Spotify?
Spotify said that paying users in 11 countries can now watch music videos. These countries are the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Kenya. Users can watch videos on their phone, computer, or TV using the Spotify app.
At first, Spotify is offering a small selection of music videos from artists like Ed Sheeran and Doja Cat. Spotify is starting small with this new feature so that they can improve it based on user and artist feedback. The company plans to expand this service to include more artists and regions in the future.
Can Spotify really take on YouTube through this feature?
Spotify has tried short clips under 30 seconds before, but now they're diving into music videos. However, YouTube has ruled this field for a long time, offering many videos for free.
Spotify is working hard to add more users with the new feature and other offerings, such as podcasts and audiobooks. But it's not clear if they can challenge YouTube in the music video field.
