About Jaguar– animal or car?
What do you think of when you hear the name "Jaguar"? If you love animals, you might think of the big, strong cat that lives in the jungle. But if you like cars, you’ll think of the fancy British car brand!
Did you know that Jaguar cars are owned by an Indian company called Tata Motors? Even though Tata owns it, the cars are still made in Britain, where Jaguar’s story began.
Jaguar was founded in 1922 and became famous over the years for making sports cars that look great and go fast. Later, Tata Motors bought it.

Company unveils new logo!

Jaguar has big plans for the future:
They will make three electric cars in 2026.
They stopped selling new cars for a year to focus on new ideas.
They want to sell only electric cars to help the planet.
Jaguar even has a new logo, JaGUar!! It also revealed a "leaper" cat that looks modern and cool. Their new slogans include "Delete ordinary" and "Copy nothing."
Jaguar made a video to show off its new logo and ideas. But some people don’t like it. They say it looks more like a fashion brand than a car company. Jaguar says they want to be different and will show their new cars soon!
What is rebranding?
Rebranding means changing a company’s name, logo, or look to make it feel new and fresh.
Think about your favourite snack. What if the company changed the bag design? The snack inside is the same, but the new bag might make you want to buy it more. That’s rebranding!
Importance of brand identity.
Brand identity is how a company shows itself to people. It’s the name, logo, and what people think about it. For example, when you see McDonald’s:
You know the big yellow "M". You see the red and yellow colours. You remember Ronald McDonald, the clown.
These things make you think of McDonald’s right away. You know it means burgers, fries, and fun!
