<h5>What is KBC?</h5><p>KBC, or ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, is a television game show that focuses on multiple-choice quiz questions.</p><p>The show was started in the year 2000. This year’s edition is the 15th season of the show. The show took some breaks in between; that’s why it's the 15th edition. Amitabh Bachchan has hosted this show since the beginning, except in the 3rd season, when Shahrukh Khan replaced him.</p><p>People from across India watch this show. Many also try to participate in this show to win the top prize. SET India.</figcaption></figure></div><p>Jaskaran Singh, a 21-year-old from Khalra, a small town in Punjab's Tarn Taran district, has become the first crorepati of KBC 15. Jaskaran won Rs 1 crore on the show (yay!). However, he didn’t know the answer to the final question, which would have won him Rs 7 crore.</p><p>So, he decided to withdraw from the game with Rs 1 crore. The young man is preparing for the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/women-shine-in-upsc-result">civil services exam</a>. He has been trying to participate in the show for the past four years. He was also presented with a brand-new car before being presented with the final question. He was unsure of the answer and decided to quit.</p><p>Nonetheless, Jaskaran was happy with his winnings and said that he would give his KBC 15 prize money to his father.
