<h5>With which company has Mercedes-Maybach partnered?</h5><p>Mercedes-Maybach has partnered with Space Perspective, the world's first and only company to provide a carbon-neutral spaceflight experience. Space Perspective was founded in 2019 by Jane Poynter and Taber MacCallum. The company plans to change space travel using its innovative Spaceship Neptune.</p><p>The spaceship will make human spaceflight safer and more accessible. It will rise to 1,00,000 feet in the air, ensuring an awe-inspiring experience for the explorers travelling on it.</p><h5>What is Mercedes-Maybach’s role in it?</h5><p>Mercedes-Maybach will offer electric vehicles so explorers and guests can travel to and from Space Perspective facilities, local activities, and Florida's Space Coast launch site. The use of electric vehicles will help cut down on carbon emissions.</p><h5>What do we know about Spaceship Neptune?</h5><p>Spaceship Neptune is designed to be the most accessible, sustainable, and safe spacecraft. It consists of the SpaceBalloon, the Reserve Descent System, and the Neptune Capsule.</p><p>Spaceship Neptune's capsule will remain attached to the SpaceBalloon from liftoff to splashdown and will not separate like other spacecraft. The SpaceBalloon will lift Spaceship Neptune into space. The balloon will use renewable hydrogen, and there will be no rockets. The balloon will climb slowly at 12mph (19 kmph).</p><p>Spaceship Neptune also has a reserve descent system consisting of four parachutes between the capsule and the SpaceBalloon. In the case of a malfunction, the parachutes can help make a safe landing.</p><p>The Neptune Capsule has nine seats for eight explorers and one pilot. These seats can be modified for special events like dinner for two or a wedding. The capsule also has windows for 360-degree views. Dark materials are used in the interior to prevent glare and reflection.</p><p>The capsule has a refreshment bar, storage cabinet, Wi-Fi connection, and communication devices. It has space for scientific equipment. Anybody who wants to try out this experience will have to pay USD 125,000 (Rs 1.04 crore) for a ticket. The company says 1650 people have already paid the amount for a trip to space onboard their spaceship.</p>
