<h5>The Big News</h5><p>The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) had its 2025 Summit in Tianjin, China, from 31st August to 1st September. Leaders from the participating countries signed the Tianjin Declaration and a 10-year plan to work better together.</p><h5>What is the SCO?</h5><p>The SCO is a group of countries made in 2001. Its members are China, Russia, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, and Belarus.</p><p>At first, the SCO was made to fight three big problems: terrorism, separatism (breaking countries apart), and extremism (very harmful ideas). Later, they also started working on trade, culture, roads, energy, and science. Their motto is the Shanghai Spirit, which means trust and teamwork.</p><h5>About the 2025 Summit</h5><p>The summit was held at the Meijiang Centre in Tianjin. Leaders from all member countries, including India’s Prime Minister, joined the meeting.</p><p>The leaders made 24 agreements. These included starting an anti-drug centre, opening a centre for new threats, giving Laos a Dialogue Partner status, and passing leadership to Kyrgyzstan for next year. They also talked about making an SCO Bank and an energy plan for roads, power, and technology.</p><h5>Why is the USA Bothered?</h5><p>The United States is not in the SCO. Some members, like China, Russia, and India, want a multipolar world. This means power should not stay with one country only. If the SCO makes its own bank and energy projects, it could reduce U.S. power in the world.</p><p>Also, the USA put a 50% tariff (extra tax) on goods from India. It also put new tariffs on goods from China, up to 145%, before lowering them a little. This is why the U.S. worries when India and China work together in the SCO.</p><h5>The Future of SCO</h5><p>Next year, Kyrgyzstan will lead the SCO. The group may focus on water and disaster help.</p><p>The SCO is not just about meetings. It is about building roads, power, and safety for all members. With trade fights growing, how these countries share and trust each other will matter even more.</p>
