Tragic fire ends fun.
On 25th May 2024, many people were having fun with their friends and families at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot, Gujarat.
Sadly, a massive fire broke out at the facility, resulting in many deaths and injuries.
What caused the fire?
An official suggested electrical sparks as a possible cause. But CCTV footage also shows that sparks from a welding machine set fire to inflammable materials on site. This also could have started the fire.
More investigation is required to know what exactly happened.
Irresponsibility behind the tragedy!

The game zone lacked a document issued by the fire department after checking the site for fire safety measures like extinguishers and alarms.
The facility also had only one-way entry and exit. This could be dangerous during emergencies like fires, making it hard for people to leave quickly.
Stored fuel in the facility also caused the fire to spread and caused extensive damage.
Steps taken after the incident.
The police arrested four people, including those who had established the facility. The state government formed a team to investigate the incident.
The Gujarat High Court criticised local authorities for letting the facility operate without proper documents.
This incident highlights that businesses should follow all the rules and be responsible for ensuring people’s safety.
