<h5>A Special Birthday</h5><p>On 6th July 2025, the Dalai Lama turned 90 years old. Thousands of monks, students, and visitors came to Dharamshala, India, to wish him a happy birthday.</p><p>They prayed, danced, and sang to celebrate the day. There was even a big 8-layer cake!</p><p>Leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former US President Barack Obama also sent good wishes.</p><p>This day was not just a birthday. It was a day to celebrate peace, love, and kindness.</p><h5>Who Is the Dalai Lama?</h5><p>The Dalai Lama is the leader of the Tibetan Buddhist religion.</p><p>“Dalai Lama” is a special title, not a name, and it means “Ocean of Wisdom.”</p><p>People believe the Dalai Lama is born again after death. This is called reincarnation.</p><p>The current Dalai Lama is the 14th Dalai Lama. His original name is Tenzin Gyatso. He was born in 1935 and became the 14th Dalai Lama when he was just 5 years old.</p><p>In 1959, he left his home in Tibet due to problems with China and moved to India. He now lives in Dharamshala and teaches peace to all.</p><h5>Why Is He Loved?</h5><p>The Dalai Lama teaches people to be kind, honest, and helpful.</p><p>He says the best way to be happy is to have a good heart.</p><p>Even though he cannot go back to Tibet, he works to protect its culture and nature.</p><p>He always says, “Talk for peace, don’t fight.”</p><h5>What Has He Done?</h5><p>In 1989, the Dalai Lama got the Nobel Peace Prize for teaching non-violence.</p><p>He teaches people how to stay calm, respect all religions, and take care of our Earth.</p><p>On his birthday, students planted trees, cleaned parks, and helped others as a part of the “Year of Compassion.”</p><h5>What is The Future?</h5><p>The Dalai Lama says he is healthy and wants to live till 130!</p><p>He has confirmed that after he dies, Tibetan monks will choose the next Dalai Lama.</p><p>His special message to all of us is: “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”</p>
