<h5>What do we know about the world’s largest spherical structure?</h5><p>The MSG Sphere is the name of the world’s largest spherical structure. It is located in Las Vegas in the US. Las Vegas also holds the record for having the highest ferris wheel in the US and the most powerful light beam on the planet. The Sphere is the new addition to the city.</p><p>The Sphere is 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide. The structure appears like a giant spaceship from sci-fi movies. Reports say the structure has the world's highest-resolution wraparound Light Emitting Diode (LED) screen. Its exterior is also fitted with 1.2 million small-sized LEDs that can be used to display various images.</p><p>It was fully illuminated for the first time on 4th July 2023 for the Fourth of July celebrations. It will host various events like concerts, screen movies, and sporting events such as boxing and mixed martial arts. It has a seating capacity of 18,000 people.</p><p>The people inside the Sphere will not only see their favourite artists perform but will also be surrounded by a huge LED screen! The screen will exhibit augmented animations and close-up shots of the performers.</p><p>Besides being a visual marvel, the Sphere has around 1,60,000 speakers. The speakers have been placed throughout the bowl to offer guests a next-level audio experience. It will also provide four-dimensional (4D) experiences, including vibrating seats and wind machines.</p><h5>When is the Sphere scheduled to open?</h5><p>It is scheduled to open on the 29th September 2023. The first event that will be held at this sphere is "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere." This is a 25-concert series by the famous band U2. The series will continue until mid-December.</p><p>The facility will also host unique screenings of Darren Aronofsky's film "Postcard From Earth."
