- Neeraj Chopra: He is India’s first Olympic gold medalist in javelin. He won the gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with a big throw of 89.94 meters. He also won gold at the 2023 World Championships.
- Milkha Singh: Known as the Flying Sikh, he was one of India’s first famous runners. He just missed winning a medal at the 1960 Rome Olympics. His life story is shown in the movie “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.”
- PT Usha: PT Usha, also known as the Payyoli Express, came close to winning an Olympic medal in 1984. She has won over 100 medals in her career.
- Anju Bobby George: Anju was the first Indian to win a medal at the World Championships in 2003. She is known for her 6.83-meter long jump.
- Tajinderpal Singh Toor: Tajinderpal is a strong shot putter who set an Asian record with a throw of 21.77 meters. He won gold medals at the Asian Games in 2018 and 2023.
- Sushil Kumar: Sushil Kumar is a famous wrestler who has won bronze and silver Olympic medals. He is the only Indian world champion in wrestling.
