‘The Lion King’ is an animated Disney movie that was released in 1994. It’s about a young lion named Simba who will be king one day.
In the beginning, Simba’s dad, Mufasa, is the king. But his mean uncle, Scar, makes a sneaky plan to take the throne. Simba has to run away from home to save his own life.
But Simba makes new friends, grows up, and then returns home to become the rightful king and defeat his evil uncle.
In 2019, they made a new version of the movie that looks very real. And guess what? There’s a new trailer for another Lion King movie. How exciting!

In the film, Rafiki, a wise monkey, recalls the story of two lions: Mufasa and his brother Taka (who becomes Scar). He’s telling this story to Kiara, who is Mufasa’s granddaughter and the daughter of Simba.
The movie might show new adventures with the next generation of lions.
