Life In Desert

The desert is a land of extreme sun and heat,
Where the dunes and the wind scream.
Where the sand shifts and the cacti prick,
Where life is difficult, and death is quick.

But the desert is also a land of beauty,
Where the stars sparkle, and the moon glows.
Where camels are ships,
Where the culture is rich, and the spirit grows. 
This is the land where plants do not survive. 
This is the land of snakes and rain breaks. 
This is the land of beautiful sunrise and sunset,
Where we wake up and feel that life is reset.
