Last weekend, we held a poem writing contest. We asked our readers to write a poem inspired by any news published in September on Newsahoot.

This contest helped students boost their vocabulary, creativity, and emotional expression.

Congratulations to Janvi (Class 8) from Vivek Modern School, Delhi and Aarohi Bhartia (Class 4) from Mayoor School, Jaipur.

Inspired by the news article: Lisa Wins Best K-pop Award At The MTV VMAs

Lisa stood under bright lights,
Her dance was amazing, what a sight!
With every move, she made us cheer,
At the VMAs, she showed no fear.

Her songs make us smile and sing,
She's a big star; she shines so bright
With a glow and a smile so bright
Lisa you're our favorite tonight.

BLINKS were happy, clapping loud,
We're so proud to say she did it all
Congratulations Lisa, you're on cloud 9
Congratulations Lisa standing tall.
You're a workstar standing tall.
