Which artist created the world’s tallest toy tower?
We all have played with toy blocks, right? It's fun to make different things and shapes with toy blocks. Recently, a team led by domino artist Benjamin Crouzier built the world's tallest toy tower using wooden blocks.
Guinness World Records awarded Crouzier and twenty other people the title 'tallest tower made of wooden toy blocks'. The tower was 27.46 metres tall. They built it using special wooden blocks called KAPLA planks. These blocks are all the same size. One can use them to make different shapes without any glue or clips.
Where did they build this tower?
The huge tower was built at the Olympia London, also known as Olympia Exhibition Centre. The team used 1,00,000 KAPLA blocks and built the tower in just four days. After the tower's height was checked, the team toppled it by pushing a plank on the ground. Within seconds, the whole tower collapsed due to a domino effect.
Lily Hevesh, a famous domino artist and YouTuber, also participated in this project. She shared a video of building this cool structure.
