San Francisco city officials said they are investigating the installation of the sign on the building. Erecting such a sign on top of a building requires permission for design and safety reasons.</p><h5>What complaints did the officials receive?</h5><p>The bright sign flashed at night, which angered several locals and generated multiple complaints from neighbours. People living near the building faced trouble at night as the glowing sign was too bright.</p><p>According to a spokesperson for the Department of Building Inspection, an inspector tried to reach the building’s roof twice to investigate the sign as complaints rolled in. However, access was denied.</p><h5>Why did Elon Musk rename Twitter?</h5><figure class="image"><img src="https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/newsahoot.appspot.com/o/big-x-removed-from-twitter-building-after-complaints%2FX%20logo.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=226a3bf0-bb77-4aec-bd93-096bbfdc4562"><figcaption>The X sign on the company’s building. The app now displays as "X" in the Apple and Google app stores.</p><p>According to Musk, when the limit was only 140 characters, messages were sent back and forth, similar to how birds tweet. So, the name Twitter made sense. However, people can now publish nearly anything, including long videos. He also plans to offer communication<br>and financial capability on this app in the coming months.</p><p>So, the Twitter name has been changed, because Elon Musk wants to rebrand it as an “everything” app.</p>
