<h5>What is a bomb cyclone?
</h5>  <p>When air pressure drops rapidly, it is referred to as a bomb cyclone. In other words, this means that a storm, which might be more dangerous than a weaker storm, is swiftly developing. A bomb cyclone is so named because of how quickly it forms, which is similar to how a bomb explodes.</p>
<p>Bomb cyclones cause a lot of precipitation and strong winds. When a strong jet stream and a sudden change in pressure come together, a bomb cyclone is formed. Recently, on 23rd December 2022, a bomb cyclone struck the United States of America (USA).

      </figure> <p>Many Americans do not have electricity as a result of the bomb cyclone, which has led to traffic jams and awful travel conditions. Many parts of the country were covered with heavy snow, violent winds, and air so icy that boiling water turned to ice in an instant.</p>
<p>The cyclone caused temperatures to drop very low. Blizzard conditions, icy roadways, and extremely low visibility were seen in many states. So, the government suggested that people stay at home.</p>
<p>Many flights were either delayed or cancelled. People were asked to stay at home in areas where the temperature dropped very low, or else they would suffer from frostbite.
</p> <h5>How can one protect themselves from such cyclones?
</h5>  <p>During these kinds of cyclones, one should only leave the house in an emergency and stock up on supplies. People must remain in their cars if they become stranded in the snow while travelling. To avoid frostbite, warm clothing must also be worn.</p>
<p>A survival kit that contains food that won't spoil, bottled water, a small shovel, warm clothing, and a blanket should also be prepared. Bomb cyclones may cause power cuts. So, it's important to store supplies like medicines, pet food, flashlight batteries, etc.

</h5>  <p>We learned about the dangers that nature can sometimes cause. There are times when nature can be dangerous, even though it is often beautiful and useful to humans. Natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, bomb cyclones, etc. can cause a lot of damage to both people and infrastructure.</p>
