Cadbury Bournvita, a health drink made by Mondelez, has recently been at the centre of a controversy. This is because a social media influencer posted a video claiming that the health drink has a lot of sugar, which is bad for people's health.

The company Mondelez filed a lawsuit against influencer Revant Himatsingka, saying that his claims were false. The influencer later apologised and removed the Instagram video. But many people have already seen and shared it.

The video caused people to think about whether Bournvita is healthy or not. Many food experts, doctors, and the media are also discussing it.

Revant Himatsingka said that Bournvita has a cancer-causing colourant and high levels of sugar. But he didn’t provide any proof regarding this. Just because he is a social media influencer, he cannot say anything without giving any proof.

Mondelez says Bournvita has been created by a team of nutritionists and food experts. The company claims that each serve of 20 grams of Bournvita has 7.5 grams of added sugar, which is around one and a half teaspoons.

Now it’s up to individuals to decide whom they will trust. We suggest that you, together with your parents, read the list of ingredients and the label on the pack before consuming any health drink on a daily basis. You can also talk to your doctor about this.
