<h5>What is this facility all about?</h5>  <p>Tata Motors has launched Re.Wi.Re (Recycle with Respect). It is the company’s first Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF). It was launched in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, inaugurated the facility. </p>
<p>This facility uses environmentally friendly procedures to safely and sustainably disassemble old vehicles. It can disassemble 15,000 vehicles annually. For consumers, the entire experience of scrapping vehicles is hassle-free and paperless. </p>
<p>The facility has specific areas for the safe breakdown of parts like tyres, batteries, fuel, oils, liquids, and gases.</p> <h5>What is a vehicle scrapping facility?</h5> <figure>

      </figure> <p>A vehicle scrapping facility specialises in disassembling and getting rid of old, unwanted, or damaged vehicles. The main job of such a facility is to separate parts of vehicles that can be recycled or sold. Before a vehicle is scrapped, it is put through many processes:</p>
<p>1. Dangerous elements in a vehicle, such as batteries, oil, and fluids, are removed and properly disposed of. 
2. The vehicle's remaining components are checked.
3. Usable parts are categorised and sold to consumers needing replacements. The remaining parts are sent for recycling.
4. The remaining shell of the vehicle gets crushed and is recycled to form a new metal.</p>
<p>Vehicle scrapping helps in reducing old vehicles on the road. Since those vehicles generally use older technology, they pollute the environment more than new vehicles. So, indirectly vehicle scrapping also helps in reducing pollution.  </p> <h5>Does India have a vehicle scrapping policy?</h5> <figure>

      </figure> <p>Yes. The Indian government launched a vehicle scrapping policy to remove old and unsafe automobiles from roads. The policy's main objective is to gradually phase out unsuitable and polluting cars to reduce the nation's carbon footprint.</p>
<p>The policy offers incentives to people who choose to get their vehicles scrapped. For example, a person buying a new vehicle may be given discounts, offered to pay reduced road tax, or even an exemption from paying the registration fee.These incentives are to encourage old vehicle owners to opt for scrapping their vehicles. </p>
<p>Generally, the government has to ensure that the country's people know the advantages of scrapping their vehicles. But we must also do our part and educate the people around us. </p>

Old vehicles generally release a lot of pollution. Sometimes, the public is asked to scrap their old vehicles.
