<h5>What is the Bloomberg Billionaires Index?</h5>  <p>There are people in this world who are super-duper rich. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index ranks such people. </p>
<p>Bloomberg launched this list in 2012. It is updated regularly. This list features 500 of the world’s richest people. </p>
<p>Recently, Gautam Adani made it to this list. His approximate net worth is $137.4 billion or ₹10.97 lakh crore (what would you buy with so much money?). He is now the world's third-richest person. He is also the first person from Asia to make it to the top three on this list.
</p> <h5>Who is Gautam Adani? </h5>  <p>Gautam Adani is the head of the Adani Group. He was born in 1962 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He finished his schooling at Ahmedabad's Sheth C.N. Vidyalaya School. He joined Gujarat University but he left it after the second year (you must complete your studies though!)</p>
<p>He started his own business and focused on growing it. Today, he operates many businesses dealing with power transmission, renewable power generation, ports, etc.</p>
<p>Adani also heads the Adani Foundation, which works to help the less fortunate. In the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Adani is now behind Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

      </figure> <p>Elon Musk is the richest person in the world with a net worth of $247 billion. Jeff Bezos is second and is worth $152 billion.</p>
<p>Musk is known worldwide as the head of Tesla Inc. (a company that makes electric cars) and SpaceX (a space exploration company).</p>
<p>Jeff Bezos is the founder and head of Amazon (you've heard of it, right?). He is the second richest person in the world.

      </figure> <p>This list contains 500 richest people in this world, including many who are well known. Some of them are Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, founders of Google, Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, etc.
Other Indians, besides Gautam Adani, have also been included in this list. Mukesh Ambani (chairman of Reliance), Azim Premji, Radhakishan Damani, Uday Kotak, etc. are among them.</p>
<p>Perhaps one day, Indians will take the top three spots on this list!
