Food is very important in Indian culture. People all around the country are united by their love of food. Food is a common love not only in India but throughout the world. Such is the love that even the cuisine of every country is ranked by TasteAtlas.
India is ranked fifth on TasteAtlas' list of the world's top cuisines for 2022. Italy's cuisine was ranked first, followed by Greece's and Spain's. Japan ranked fourth on this ranking.
Many people believed that the rankings were unjustified. Some people think that their country's cuisine is better than all others. As a result, they took to social media to protest.
What is TasteAtlas?

TasteAtlas is a map of foods, regional ingredients, and restaurants from around the world. Matija Babi, a Croatian journalist, founded TasteAtlas in 2015. It was launched in 2018 after three years of collecting data.
The website contains restaurant recommendations as well as reviews from local experts and professional food critics. The website is simple to use. Simply enter a place, which may be anywhere in the world, to learn about local food and where to enjoy it. You can try it for yourself here. TasteAtlas also released the “World’s Best Dishes” rankings.
What was the ranking of Indian dishes in TasteAtlas' World's Best Dishes?

Only one Indian dish, Shahi Paneer, made the top 50 list of the best dishes in the world. It came in 28th place. Butter Chicken finished in the 53rd position. Korma was ranked 55th, Vindaloo was ranked 71st, and Hyderabadi Biryani was ranked 79th on this list.
Kare (Japan), Picanha (Brazil), Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato (Portugal), Tangbao (China), and Guotie (China) respectively are the top five best dishes in the world according to TasteAtlas.
