Indian K9 dogs travel to France!
Ten amazing K9 (canine) dogs and their handlers from India are in Paris, France, to help keep the Paris Olympics 2024 safe!
The French embassy asked India for help, and the Indian government agreed to send the team to France.
The team has 6 Belgian Shepherds, 3 German Shepherds, and 1 Labrador Retriever. They are all from different CAPF units, ready to sniff out any trouble and keep everyone safe.
The team has already arrived in Paris and is ready for their mission!
What are K9 units specialised in?
The CAPF has some amazing dogs that can do all sorts of cool things! They can sniff out bad guys, find illegal stuff, patrol areas to look out for trouble, and even help in rescue missions! Isn’t it awesome what these dogs can do?
Now, the special team of these super dogs is in France to help keep the Paris Olympics 2024 safe! They will help ensure everyone stays safe during the games.
About the Paris Olympics.
The Paris Olympic Games will be held from 26th July to 11th August 2024. Guess what? There will be a new sport called breaking, which is a super cool dance style!
For the first time ever, there will be an equal number of female and male athletes – 5,250 men and 5,250 women!
Many Indian athletes will also be competing. Let’s cheer for them and hope they win lots of medals for India!
