What happened to Iran’s president?

Iran's president, Ebrahim Raisi, and some other officials recently died in a helicopter crash caused by poor weather.

Many countries, including India, offered condolences over the shocking news.

This incident happened at a time when Iran was getting negative attention for issues like its missile attacks on Israel, military ties with Russia during the Russia-Ukraine war, etc.

Some believe Israel assassinated Ebrahim Raisi, as both nations do not have a good relationship. They have also been involved in covert attacks against each other.

Months ago, Israel killed an Iranian military general. Recently, Iran launched a drone-and-missile attack on Israel.

However, Israel denies involvement in the helicopter crash. It remains to be seen if Iran will investigate further.
