Videos circulating on social media showed users marching on digital brick streets lined with Palestinian flags. These players are too young to protest on the streets. It can be seen that a huge group of players are marching (using their Roblox characters) through the game's digital streets, waving Palestinian flags.</p><p>Then they are standing in front of placards reading, "Solidarity for you, Palestine." Aside from virtually protesting, players can also donate money. There’s also a big Palestinian flag at the entrance of the virtual protest in the game.</p><h5>What is Roblox?</h5><p>Roblox (launched in 2006) is one of the world’s most popular virtual playgrounds. Roblox is like a gaming platform where players can play many user-created games. One can even build their own games using Roblox Studio. David Baszucki and Erik Cassel developed Roblox.</p><p>The first step for anyone interested in Roblox is to sign up for a free account. However, kids under the age of 18 must get permission from their parents. Users will have to build an avatar after creating an account. Someone can also use Robux (the game’s currency) to buy certain premium items for their avatar.</p><p>Once users have completed their profiles, they can play various games on the platform. The game can be played on multiple platforms, like Windows, MacOS, Xbox, etc. The players appear as avatars on Roblox. Their profiles do not show personal information like age, gender, etc.</p><p>There are also moderators who ensure the games, website, etc., are safe for all to access and enjoy. They also ensure that there is no hate among the players.</p><h5>What are Roblox’s views about the protests?</h5><p>Roblox users are allowed to talk about the Israel-Hamas conflict as long as the talks are done peacefully, and no hate is involved. The server was taken offline by Roblox for a few hours for review purposes. Later, it was again brought online. Roblox found that the server doesn’t allow any hate against others.</p><p>However, Roblox is keeping an eye on the server in case it becomes unfriendly and aggressive.</p>
