<h5>Who is BTS? </h5>  <p>BTS is a boy band from South Korea (bet you already knew that). There are seven guys in the band - RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. In Korean, BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof Boy Scouts. Internationally, BTS is also known as the Bangtan Boys. </p>
<p>They chose a name like bulletproof for their band because they know all the metaphorical bullets that youngsters face nowadays. These bullets are the stereotypes, expectations, and criticisms heaped on teenagers today.</p>
<p>The name BTS is meant to celebrate the toughness of teenagers and their ability to withstand the pressures (bullets) of the world. BTS fans proudly call themselves the ARMY (Adorable Representative MC for Youth).
</p> <h5>How long has BTS been around?</h5>  <p>BTS formed in 2010 and released their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool on 13th June 2013. That’s why on June 13th 2022, the ARMY is celebrating the ninth anniversary of BTS. Since 2013, BTS has released eight original albums, six compilation albums, seven extended plays and eleven singles.</p>

BTS’s albums have become number one on the Billboard 200 chart numerous times and their videos have set new records for viewership on YouTube. BTS is a worldwide sensation despite the fact that their songs are mostly in Korean. Thanks to BTS, South Korea earns about $5 billion each year.
</p> <h5>How did the BTS get so successful?</h5> <figure>

      </figure> <p>Hard work - that’s the secret sauce of their success! BTS only released their first album three years after their band was formed. During these three years, they received lessons in dancing, singing and acting. During this time, they would practice for twelve to fifteen hours a day!</p>

Hard work and talent are certainly reasons for their awesome singing and dancing. However, their smashing success is also the result of something else.
</p> <h5>What else led to their success and what’s next for BTS?</h5>  <p>The South Korean music industry has become a large business run by music companies. From a very early age, they force children to become perfect pop stars. This includes controlling their diet, training them to sing, etc. In case any child becomes successful, they control the music and life of the child they trained. 
BTS was not groomed this way. From the very beginning, they wanted to voice their opinion about how society functions and why it needed to change. They used their music to express themselves. They were honest about their struggles instead of pretending to be perfect. People all over the world appreciated them for being real, even those who did not understand Korean. 
The BTS has seen record-breaking success for quite some time now. However, they have now decided to take a break from the band and focus on their individual careers. But we hope that this is not the end of BTS and that one day, they will be back together to make more awesome music!
