What is Formula 2?

Formula 2, or F2, is a car race. It is one step below Formula 1, the world's most famous car race.

F2 helps young drivers get ready for Formula 1. Every car in F2 is the same. They are very fast and can go over the speed of 330 kilometres per hour!

There are two races in F2. One is the Sprint Race, which is short and has no 'pit stop'. The other is the Feature Race, which is longer and has one pit stop, needed for a tyre change.

What Happened in Monaco?

The race took place on the streets of Monaco. The race had 22 drivers from different teams. The track is small and has lots of turns, so overtaking other cars is very hard.

Kush started in the front and remained there till the end. He drove very well on the tricky and difficult track.

Different Levels of Formula Races

There are three types of Formula races: F3, F2, and F1. F3 is for beginners. F2 is the next level, whereas F1 is the highest.

In Formula 2, everyone drives the same type of car. So winning is totally dependent on the driver's skills and not the car.

Why is This Win Special?

Winning in Monaco is very hard. Even top racers find it tough. Kush’s win shows he is an excellent driver.

This is a proud time for India. It also shows the racing world that new young racers from all across the world are ready to achieve great things!
