At which school is Iris teaching?
People are talking about artificial intelligence (AI) a lot these days. It's a new technology that's changing many parts of our lives, including how we learn in school. In Kerala, a school is using AI to make learning more fun. They have a special teacher there, an AI robot named Iris.
Iris started teaching at KTCT Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The robot has been built in collaboration with Makerlabs Edutech Private Limited.

What can Iris do?
Iris is a robot that can speak three languages and answer tough questions. It's like a helpful assistant using smart technology to talk to people and explain things. Iris also makes fun quizzes and activities for learning together.
Iris has four wheels, so it moves easily in classrooms and talks to students. It even has hands to pick up things.
Iris is a cool teaching tool that uses robotics and smart technology to make learning fun. Even though it talks and acts like a teacher, it doesn't have the same feelings as people. Iris cannot form human connections and does not know each student by name.
What are the future plans regarding the robot teacher?
Following a positive student reaction, the school plans to use more AI teachers during the upcoming academic session.
