Jaishankar, has said that Canada has allowed Khalistanis to indulge in certain activities in their country that have affected the relationship between India and Canada. The commission was established following reports of alleged Chinese attempts to influence elections in the country. The commission is looking into foreign intervention in Canada by China, Russia, etc.</p><p>Recently, the commission has requested that the Canadian government provide information about the possibility of Indian interference in the country’s elections. It will check if India interfered in Canada’s 2019 and 2021 elections.
