<h5>The drop on the house!</h5><p>Recently, a strange event occurred in Florida, USA. Where an object crashed through the roof of a house.</p><p>While the homeowner, Alejandro Otero, was on holiday, his son was in the house when the object hit. His son informed him about the situation. The object had almost hit their son.</p><p>The homeowners were grateful that no one was hurt.</p><h5>What do you think the object was?</h5><p>Alejandro Otero thought the object was a meteorite. He found out later that the object weighed nearly 2 pounds and was about 4 inches tall</p><p>When Otero saw the object, he thought it was from outer space but not a meteorite. The object hit the roof of the house and damaged the floor. Later, NASA confirmed what the object was.</p><h5>Confirmation by NASA</h5><p>NASA answered the question of what the object is. It was confirmed that it was a piece of space junk from the International Space Station (ISS).</p><p>It was a metal piece which is used to hold batteries on a pallet which was dumped from the ISS. Most of the pallet was burnt in the atmosphere, but this piece survived.</p><p>This incident shows the dangers of space debris, as small parts can cause damage when they fall to Earth.</p>
