Ratan Tata, one of India’s most famous business leaders, passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a great leader and a very kind person. He loved animals and helped many people.

Early life and education.
Ratan Tata was born on December 28, 1937. He studied in the USA at Cornell University and learned about buildings and engineering.
He worked very hard, even though he was born into a rich family.

Helping Tata Group grow!
In 1991, Ratan Tata became the boss of Tata Group, a big company in India. He made Tata Group even bigger by buying companies like Jaguar and Tetley Tea. He also made the Tata Nano, a car that everyone could afford.
His work made Tata Group famous all over the world.

Caring for society and animals.
Ratan Tata was not just focused on business. He believed in helping people, so he ensured that a large part of Tata Group's profits went to charity, funding schools, hospitals, and projects that help poor communities.
Opened to the public on July 1, 2024, the Small Animal Hospital in Mumbai was Ratan Tata's last project, which was close to his heart.
