<h5>What happened at the Parliament?</h5><p>On 13th December 2023, a huge security breach occurred at the Parliament. During the breach, two intruders from the visitors' gallery jumped into the Lok Sabha area while ministers were present.</p><p>They jumped into the Lok Sabha area, and one of them opened a gas canister, and the place was filled with smoke. They also shouted slogans. The Lok Sabha members and security staff overpowered the two people.</p><p>The incident happened while the parliament’s Zero Hour was ongoing.</p><h5>Oh no! One incident happened inside the Parliament while a man and a woman were arrested outside Parliament. The man and woman also had smoke canisters that released red and yellow smoke.</p><p>The Delhi police say the breach will be investigated. After the breach, security around the area has been increased. After the breach, the Lok Sabha session was halted. Lok Sabha resumed again at 2 p.m.</p><p>After the two Lok Sabha intruders were caught, a visitor's pass was found from one of them. Reports say the pass appears to have been issued by the office of a BJP Member of Parliament (MP).</p><p>Reports also say all four knew each other. In total, six people were involved in the incident. Two caused a disturbance inside the Parliament, while two more did it outside. Five of them have been arrested at the time of writing this, and the police are looking for the sixth person.</p><h5>What are the reactions to the incident?</h5><p>Many MPs were in shock regarding the security breach. Many have also condemned the incident. Some Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members and the opposition parties have argued regarding the breach. An opposition party MP even said that the BJP was behind it.</p><p>The father of one of the people involved in the security breach said that what he did was wrong and should be punished. The arrested woman said they are not involved with any political party. She also said the government was suppressing the voices of ordinary people and highlighted the struggle of farmers, labourers, and other issues.</p><p>The recent security breach occurred exactly 22 years after the 2001 Parliament attacks and has shocked many.</p>
