<p>Forbes also covers topics such as technology, communications, science, and law. Forbes is perhaps best known for its lists, which include billionaires, the top 30 under 30 (top 30 who are under the age of 30), colleges, entertainers, self-made women, etc.</p>
<p>One such list that Forbes publishes is the “Asia’s Power Businesswomen” list. It is published by Forbes Asia. The latest list has been published recently. Three Indian women entrepreneurs have been named on this list (yay!!).</p> <h5>Cool! What is the 2022 Asia’s Power Businesswomen list about?</h5>  <p>The “2022 Asia’s Power Businesswomen” list has been published by Forbes Asia on 8th November 2022. This list features 20 women from the Asia-Pacific region. They have been recognised for having worked tirelessly to shift their businesses to the “new normal” following the pandemic, running them successfully, and showing strong leadership skills.</p>
<p>Despite the various challenges that companies have faced in recent years, the 20 women on the list have come up with various strategies to help their businesses grow. Some of these women work in industries like shipping, real estate, and construction, while others are in fields like technology, pharmaceuticals, etc.</p>
<p>Some of these women are succeeding in male-dominated industries, while others are running successful family businesses. This year's list has three women each from India, Japan, Australia, and Indonesia, two each from South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand, and one each from Taiwan and China. </p> <h5>Oh wow! <p>Soma Mondal - She is the first woman to head the Steel Authority of India Ltd. Since Mondal became the head of the company in 2021, yearly income has increased by 50% and profits have tripled to Rs 120 billion.</p>
<p>Namita Thapar - She is Emcure Pharma's executive director. She is also an author and the host of a YouTube show called “Uncondition Yourself with Namita Thapar.” In this show, experts and celebrities discuss women's health issues.</p>
<p>Ghazal Alagh - She is the co-founder of Honasa Consumer, which includes the companies Mamaearth, The Derma Co, Aqualogica, and Ayuga. She co-founded her company in 2016 with her husband, Varun. Her company became a unicorn earlier this year.</p>
<p>All three Indians on this list have been extremely successful in their respective fields.
