The first part is cellulose. These are tiny threads that give wood its strength, just like threads make cloth strong. The second part is lignin. Lignin is like glue that holds the threads together. The third part is hemicellulose, which fills the small spaces.</p><p>In Superwood, scientists remove some of the lignin and hemicellulose. But they keep the cellulose safe. Because cellulose is the strongest part, this makes the wood thicker, tougher, and ready to handle more force.</p><h5>Who makes it and how?</h5><p>Superwood is made by a company called InventWood. The idea came from the research of Professor Liangbing Hu and his team. The making has two steps. First, the wood is boiled in a liquid. This liquid takes out some of the glue-like lignin. Then the wood is pressed with heat. This pressing pushes the cellulose threads very close together. When they are close, they make millions of tiny bonds. These bonds make the wood much stronger than normal wood.</p><h5>How Will It Help?</h5><p>Because the cellulose threads are packed tightly, Superwood does not break easily when bent or pulled. Scientists call this tensile strength. It means how much pulling a material can take before it breaks. Superwood has more tensile strength than some steels! It is also lighter than steel. This means it is strong without being too heavy. Superwood could be used to build houses, make lighter cars, and even create furniture that lasts longer.</p><h5>The Future of Superwood</h5><p>Superwood shows how science can make natural things better. Before it is used everywhere, it needs to be tested for safety. But if it passes, one day houses, cars, and furniture could all be made with this eco-friendly wood.</p>
