'Aam Panna' by Rahib

Read this refreshing recipe by a Class 7 student of Holy Child Public School, Sector 75.

Ingredients:

  • Raw mango/keri (4-5)
  • Thyme (half tablespoon)
  • Mint leaves, green chilli, ginger (to taste)
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Ice

Steps to make:

  1. Wash the raw mangoes and boil them in a cooker for 2 whistles.
  2. Peel the mangoes after they cool and take out the pulp.
  3. Mix the pulp with cumin, green chilli, ginger, and sugar in a mixer grinder to make a thick paste.
  4. Take a glass. Add 1 tablespoon of aam panna paste and ice to it. Then, fill the glass with cold water and stir.
  5. Serve it chilled.

Note: Aam panna is a very healthy drink that can help prevent heatstroke.
