Harmanpreet Kaur, India's captain, won the toss and chose to bat first. At the end of the first innings, India scored 116/7 (it was a T20 match).</p><p>In the second innings, India’s Titas Sadhu (3/6) quickly dismissed the first three Sri Lankan batters. The Sri Lankan middle order tried their best to win the match, but India's spinners took wickets and kept the score under check. Sri Lanka finished with 97/8 after 20 overs.</p><p>This is India's second gold medal at the Asian Games 2023 after the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/indian-rifle-team-wins-gold-in-asian-games-2023">10m rifle team</a> won a gold medal recently.</p><h5>What is the current position of India in the medal table?</h5><p>More than 12,000 competitors from all 45 member countries under the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) are participating in the Asian Games 2023. There will be 481 events in this year’s Asian Games.</p><p>Yesterday, India’s Equestrian Dressage team made history by winning their first gold medal in 41 years.
