<h5>Dogs: friends, not just pets.</h5><p>Dogs and humans have a long history of companionship. Their loyalty and friendship have been cherished and mentioned throughout history (hello, <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.newsahoot.com/articles/hachiko-s-100-years">Hachiko</a>!).</p><p>Dogs are more than mere pets; some of us consider them our best friends. They greet us cheerfully, wagging their tails and jumping joyfully, which can brighten our day. It is well known that dogs can recognise words associated with specific behaviours, such as "stay," “sit,” etc.</p><p>However, recent research confirms they can also link words with specific objects like balls and frisbees. Dog owners won’t be surprised by this discovery. When asked to fetch their favourite toy, dogs enthusiastically bring it while wagging their tails.</p><p>Still, the study was done to understand dogs better.
