It believes Iran is using these sites to try to build nuclear bombs, which are extremely dangerous weapons.</p><p>Iran fought back by firing more than 270 missiles at Israel.</p><h5>Why Are They Fighting?</h5><p>Israel thinks Iran is trying to make a nuclear bomb at its nuclear sites. This would be a huge threat to Israel.</p><p>Iran says it is using its sites for making peaceful nuclear energy only. But many countries, including Israel and the United States, do not believe that.</p><p>These two countries have not liked each other for many years. Now, they are fighting directly and openly.</p><h5>How Strong Are They?</h5><p>Israel has a powerful defense system called the Iron Dome. It stops rockets in the air before they hit buildings. Israel also has high-tech fighter jets and spy drones.</p><p>Iran has many missiles. Some fly very high and fast. Others fly low to avoid being seen. Iran also uses drones that can go far and hit targets.</p><p>Both countries are using modern machines in this war.</p><h5>How Are People Affected?</h5><p>This war is hurting regular people. In Iran, 224 people have died, and cities have been badly damaged. In Israel, 24 people have died from the attacks.</p><p>Homes, schools, and lives have all been destroyed. People in both countries are living in fear.</p><h5>What Might Happen Next?</h5><p>Leaders from around the world are asking for peace; they are very worried about this war.</p><p>The US supports Israel but also wants the war to stop.</p><p>If Iran makes a nuclear bomb, other countries may make bombs too. That could make the world more dangerous.</p><p>It doesn't matter who wins in a war; innocent people suffer on both sides. It is always better to choose peace.</p>
