<h5>Voting season begins!</h5><p>Every five years, the Lok Sabha elections take place in India. People nationwide make their way to the polling stations to cast their votes.</p><p>The political parties also engage in various activities to ensure they get the maximum votes. The promises could include many things, like increasing your lunch break, organising fests, getting new sports equipment, etc.</p><p>These promises are written down by the candidates and released for everyone to read in the form of a document known as a manifesto. Voting will occur in seven phases across India.</p><p>It begins today and is taking place in certain parts of many states. Also, few states will wrap up elections today itself and will not take part in the remaining phases.</p><p>This election will be India's second-longest election process ever. It takes so many days to hold the Lok Sabha elections, as India’s population is enormous. Every citizen's vote can have a big impact.</p><p>If one is dissatisfied with the current government, they can vote for a new one. Voting allows citizens to influence social change by electing leaders who share their ideas.</p><p>That's why everyone above 18 should vote. You must also ask your parents and elders to vote.</p>
