India’s bullet train project!
Imagine a superfast train that zooms like a rocket! When you ride it, you feel like you’re flying over the land, and it helps you reach your destination quickly!
The Indian government also intends to build bullet trains throughout the country, the first of which is the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project.
This train will start in Sabarmati, Gujarat, and end in Mumbai. It will stop at 12 places along the way! Its services are expected to start in Gujarat by 2027 and extend to Maharashtra later.
This amazing train will have cosy seats and fun features to make your ride safe and enjoyable. Can you wait to ride it?

The project reaches certain milestones!
The bullet train project is progressing swiftly, and big things are happening!
A massive 100-meter-long steel bridge was set up in Silvassa, Dadra, and Nagar Haveli. It was built in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and was then moved to its new spot. This is just one of the massive bridges needed for the bullet train corridor.
Another huge bridge over the Narmada River in Gujarat is almost ready! It’s 1.4 km long and super important for ensuring the smooth functioning of the trains.
New stations and tracks are also being built. These cool projects will help us travel faster and have more fun on our journeys!
Plans to extend the bullet train network!
Guess what? The government plans to build more bullet trains and has proposed different routes to be built in the future, such as Delhi-Amritsar, Howrah-Varanasi-Patna, etc.
These new trains will help us travel quickly all over India. Isn’t that awesome? Just imagine zooming around the country on these cool trains!
