<h5>What is NASA?</h5>  <p>Our universe is a fascinating place. When we look up to the sky at night, we see the moon and countless stars; during the daytime, we see the sun shining brightly. But our eyes can only see so much. Numerous other stars, planets, moons, and other space objects are not visible to us.
Even though we can’t see these objects through our eyes, we still know a lot about them. Our knowledge of these space objects comes from the organisations or space agencies that study them. 
One such space agency is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It was founded in 1958 by the United States (US) government to gather information about the universe.</p>
<p>NASA is the global leader in space research. No other space agency has achieved the same success as NASA. It was NASA that put the first human on the moon and the first to put a spacecraft on Mars.</p>
<p>They have recently unveiled a new photograph of the universe captured using their James Webb Telescope. Let’s find out more about this telescope.

      </figure> <p>Have you ever wondered how we get clear and high-quality photographs of objects in space? These photographs are possible through giant telescopes that only click pictures of faraway objects. </p>
<p>One such space telescope is the James Webb Telescope, launched by NASA in 2021. The James Webb Telescope is the largest space telescope ever built and is currently the best telescope we have.</p>
<p>NASA was able to capture the clearest and deepest image of the distant universe ever using the James Webb Telescope.

      </figure> <p>These pictures captured by the James Webb Telescope have everyone excited. These photos show us the first-ever view of the many distant stars, galaxies, and other objects in space.
Another fun fact about these photos is that they literally allows us to look deep into the past. We are looking at how that area of the universe (called SMACS 0723) looked 4.6 billion years ago. 
Surprising, right!? But, it is true. This is because of how light travels in space. The further an object is from the earth, the more time its light will take to reach us. For example, sunlight takes about eight minutes to reach the earth, but the light from the stars located very far from us takes a lot more time to get here.
The stars and galaxies seen in these photographs are very far from us. Their light reached us after billions of years. In fact, it took so much time for their light to reach us that we’re not even sure if they exist anymore. So this photograph is literally allowing us to look into the past.

      </figure> <p>NASA hopes to discover many new things about our universe. It hopes to observe the formation of galaxies, understand how many years ago galaxies were formed, etc. It also hopes to observe the birth of stars and find planets that might be similar to the Earth. 
We’re eager to see what NASA captures using the James Webb Telescope in the future. This is just the beginning!
