The award is given to people and groups in Asia who make real and positive changes in society.</p><h5>What Is the Ramon Magsaysay Award?</h5><p>This award is often called “Asia’s Nobel Prize.” It began in 1957 to honor Philippine President Ramon Magsaysay. He was known for his clean leadership and for helping people.</p><p>Earlier, the award was given in areas like government, public service, community work, journalism, peace, and new leadership. Today, the award does not follow fixed categories. What really matters is honesty, leadership, and real impact on people’s lives. In simple words, it is Asia’s highest badge of service to society.</p><h5>What Is Educate Girls?</h5><p>Educate Girls was started in 2007 by Safeena Husain. It works in rural parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.</p><p>The heart of the program is Team Balika, which means “Girl Team.” These are village helpers who find girls who are not in school. They speak to families and teachers to make sure these girls get the chance to study.</p><p>The team also does important extra work. They map each village, track every child, and use fun, activity-based tools in classrooms. This helps children not only go to school but also learn better. A data-based plan helps them see which schools and children need the most support.</p><h5>Why Did Educate Girls Win?</h5><p>The group was given the award for fighting gender inequality in education. It works with villages, schools, and the government to make sure girls join school and get a good education.</p><p>Educate Girls is also praised for a new idea called a “Development Impact Bond.” In this plan, investors pay first and are repaid only if goals, like more girls in school and better test scores, are truly achieved and checked.</p><h5>Why This Matters</h5><p>This award is more than a prize. It shows a plan that other countries can copy to improve education and gender equality.</p><p>When even one girl goes to school, the whole community grows stronger. Families are healthier, marriages happen later, jobs improve, and women’s voices are heard more. That is how we move closer to true equality.</p>
