They can give essential first aid and CPR to people in need. It can be helpful in saving lives before professional medical help arrives.
Well, Zomato, you truly deserve a standing ovation!!
What is CPR?
CPR is a technique used to keep a person alive when they stop breathing, or their heart stops beating.
The person giving CPR has to follow three main steps, known as C-A-B:
Compressions: Push down on the person’s chest to keep blood circulating.
Airway: After doing 30 chest compressions, check if the airway is clear.
Breathing: Blow air into the person’s mouth to help them breathe.
Remember, only people trained in CPR must perform it.
How to be a hero in emergencies?
Here’s how you can help if you come across someone who is not breathing or is in need of help:
Stay calm: Keep your cool, point towards an adult and ask them for help.
Seek help: Look for the police or a doctor nearby.
Bring supplies: Fetch a first aid kit, water, or other useful items.
